Recent changes to Site Location functionality

We have made changes to the options available to users entering their Site Location when creating a Proposal. Please be aware, when creating a new Proposal, you will have to know your Local/Planning Authority and enter a Detailed Location Description when prompted.

Start a Planning or Building application

Once you're logged in, use the sidebar to choose:

  • ePlanning - to apply for Planning Permission, ask for a Local review of a decision, or to make a Planning Appeal

  • eBuildingStandards - to apply for a Building Warrant, notify your local authority of the start of works, apply for a Completion Certificate, or other building consent 

Both services include tools to help you including:

  • Which Form Wizards - to find the right forms

  • Fee Calculators - to help estimate your application fee

Location and Block plans

Many planning and building applications need a location or block plan.

Read the guidance on application requirements from Heads of Planning Scotland.
